I must say that if I were not a reader of the Holy Scriptures that this particular subject would be of no significance to me, still since I am, I bequeath get down to express my views on this thought. I agree with Berger as it relates to the woman being punished by God because there is more or less truth in what he is advocating. The woman has definitely been punished by God due to her disobedience and as a result has been made subservient and less than man. My aim is to discuss the the blame of the woman, the punishment of the woman, and the punishment to man. The Bible is a touchy subject that has dared humanness to its proper interpretation to which is yet to be fully known. I must say that there is reluctance in me to diving off into this subject because of the potential controversy that it can create, but since Berger was so brave in attempting to reveal its hidden meanings, I guess I will give it a try.
