Cyber Revolution
Technology such as kiosk phones with messaging, computers with internet and the expenditure of social networking has changed the carriage adolescents prepare learned to communicate. With the rise of these devices many young great deal do not understand the risks they argon taking. The devices themselves are not harmful entirely how they use them and what they say with them can be harmful not only to themselves but to others. Bullying was in one case the way youth would harass one another but directly, cyber bully has begin a new phenomenon that is sweeping with young peoples lives. Qing Li of the university of Calgary, describes cyber bullying, as the employment of the use of information and communication technologies, such as e-mail, cell phone and pager text messages, instant messaging, defamatory face-to-face Web sites, and defamatory online personal polling Web sites, to support deliberate, repeated, and antipathetical behavior by an individual or group that is intend to harm others (373). Cyber bullying is new to both and many adults do not last the characteristics of a child being cyber bullied. Mickie Wong-Lo states, Cyber bullying represents a unique phenomenon that creates lasting memories to those who are who have experience it (64).
This crisis among young teens is advancing so rapidly that many legislatures are passing laws about many of the cases because cyber bullying can become fatal. Bullying is not new but cyber bullying is and everyone should know the effects and how to help.
Almost all teens have cell phones now and they serve in many ways in the use of text messaging others and accessing the internet for social networks and instant messaging, all from one device.
