Unemployment for Nissan
When the Nissan motor Company came to Smyrna, TN, in the 1980s, it started a new and higher tone of life for many families. The new manufacturing company offered jobs to over 6000 people, with a promise of a good future working for Nissan. In 2001, when the contend on terrisom began, no one could have foreseen the scotch problems for Nissan. This forced Nissan to take action, to decrease unwanted production cod to rising fuel cost which in turn, caused the SUV to become slight popular.
In the late 1980s, Nissan expanded tremendously in Smyrna and began to pack employees at an astonishing rate. As the economy started advancing in an amazing way, employment was on the rise and so was the train for larger vehicles. Once this demand began, the pay for an employee at Nissan was as well as on the rise. When starting for Nissan one would start around $15.00 an hour, with snuff it out pay of $24 easily achieved in 2 years, employees spent lavishly. This began an economic boom for Smyrna and surrounding areas. Families were able to purchase nicer homes or pay off the one they already have quicker. Many people could take lavish vacations sometimes bountiful times a year.
