I feel that Roger Boisjoly was remedy when he told upper management that the O familys would afford failed. He was discipline when told upper management rough the thinkable O ring failure. He acted correctly for the time to discourage his boss about the failure. He direct a memo to the vice president of engineering and told him about the erosion and mathematical failure. He said that the Solid Rocket Motor could non sustain pressurization if the first O ring never certain at certain conditions. He continued to explain that they could not rely on the chance that the first O ring would seal in the field because the astronauts would loose their life. They should have a team to investigate and solve the problem before whatever flights would commence. He further ridiculed the vice president because there was a team that was supposed to take care of this problem tho there was never such a team formed.
Roger Boisjoly was a staff engineer at Morton Thiokol, a company that was in charge of building the solid rocket motors. Boisjoly was in the midsection of command and had his collogues concurring with him. One of them was Thompson who was a position displace and he even sent his own personal garner to management warning about the O ring failure.



Boisjolys immediate supervisor, Jack Kapp, knew about the issue and cosigned the memo that Boisjoly sent upwards. Boisjoly did this so he was not going above the caput of Kapp. Bob Lund and L.H. Sayer were the recipients of this memo by Boisjoly. The night of the flight there was a teleconference with the main flight control and Sayer remained quite about the O ring issue while Lund revise his answer to NASA about the safety to fly. I think what Boisjoly did was right; however I feel that when I read about what he said it is different from how he said it.
