* Fate is a powerful countersign and to simply describe this word with a single comment would simply be wrong. Interestingly, we are all affected by lot whether we know it or not. For example, we are all fate to die. That is, nothing we do posterior ever change the accompaniment that eventually we are going to die. What illuminates this so amazing is that the decisions we key out during our life-time most certainly determine just how we might go out. But, depending on the context of how the word is used, fate can carry different meanings. This is evident while comparing the liking of fate within the two texts; The Aeneid and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
lastly there is a huge difference between the fate of Aeneas and the fate of Gawain. Simply put, Aeneas fate is divine, and Gawains is not. Aeneas has the power of the gods shadow him. They will protect him. His decisions, in essence do not matter because no matter what they are, he will be steered towards his goal, for it is his fate to found Rome. There is no more deduction than in the words of Juno herself. This goddess would like nothing more than to hold open Aeneas from completing his destiny, but even she knows she cannot.
